That is why we have chosen to focus on monofilament today. When I first came into the wig world almost 7 years ago now, monofilament was one of the first terms I heard. Even though it's a long and bit confusing sounding word, monofilament is actually a special feature that is there to add more movement and realism to your wig!

Monofilament refers to the type of cap construction. Monofilament wigs will have a section of lace material where the hair is individually pulled through strand by strand. This allows the hair to move just like real hair would, and duplicates the look of a real scalp. Let's go over some other great benefits of a monofilament top:
